What is this site?
42ndsquadron.com is an unofficial fan-created lore hub focused on the 42nd Squadron — the United Empire of Earth Navy unit at the centre of Cloud Imperium Games' Squadron 42 campaign. The site collects and organises lore from official CIG sources: subscriber newsletters, Comm-Link posts, CitizenCon showcases, and monthly development reports.
Squadron 42 doesn't have a dedicated lore wiki yet. This site exists to give the 42nd Squadron a proper home on the internet — one place to read about the unit's history, their ships, the Odin system, and the Vanduul they fight.

Every factual claim on this site is sourced from official CIG materials. Where something is inferred or uncertain, the text says so. The goal is an accurate, well-sourced resource — not speculation presented as fact.
